Opening ski season date in Angel Fire, New Mexico is December 16, 2010. Wax your skis and get your snowboards ready! Learn to ski or snowboard with some of the best instructors in New Mexico. Special deals are usually offered for first timers. Cross country skiing, glade skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, sleigh rides, snowmobile rides and Eagle Nest State Park ice fishing are also available in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
