The PGA Champion Golf Course is open May thru October (weather permitting). The ski chairlift becomes a mountain bike lift to the top of the ski mountain for a fast ride down the slopes! Cool mountain weather is ideal for family hikes or picnics in the surrounding national forest. Hungry brown and rainbow trout are waiting in stocked lakes and mountain streams for the fishermen. MOUNTAIN BIKE: May 24, 2012 Get on the downhill with a bike.
Bike the ski slope if you dare! Bring your own bike or rent one. The Chili Express chairlift will carry you and your bike to the ski mountain trails (reviews). Mountain Bike rentals are available at the base of the chairlift and at several locations in Angel Fire. Special events are planned throughout the summer and fall seasons.
